Guide to Exeter International Airport

Exeter International Airport is run by Regional and City Airports Ltd and has experienced one of the greatest growth in passenger numbers over the past few years in the UK, and 1.0 million passengers used Exeter airport in 2007.

Flybe airline which is based at the airport is now the number one domestic airline in the Uk according to statistics in April and May provided by the CAA.

Exeter airport is situated 5 miles east of the city centre and has all the usual facilites which include web access in the departure lounge, Bureau de change in the main concourse and cash machines on the external wall of the terminal building.

The airport also has duty free shopping run by Alpha Retail, and a Food Village and Cafe for eating. There are also facilities for disabled passengers, but passengers are advised to notify the airport of outbound and inbound details prior to date of departure.

There is a bus service between the airport and Exeter city or you can rent a car from Car hire Exeter airport who will search multiple car rental companies to find you the best deals.
